I’ve put together a list of AFA prices gathered from eBay sales records. There are over 100 in the list and growing. So far, I have Jazz, Mirage, Jetfire, Blaster, Wheeljack, Starscream, Soundwave to name a few… I have yet to see an Optimus Prime go up for sale.
The list contains only G1 Transformers… I have not decided to include other lines. I’m looking forward to getting this list as large as possible in hopes the list will provide a good reference for potential buyers and help them make the right decision when purchasing an AFA.

Finally got around to opening these guys, and despite all the remarks regarding the head and some quality issues; I think these were definitely worth every penny. You can see them with their geewun counterparts below.
.

Paint job homage is spot on and wouldn’t change a thing. Both bot modes achieve the look they were conveying. I still need to paint the screws for Punch’s side black as well as paint his half of the gun orange. I almost strained my fingers trying to reverse the hands on Counterpunch but no dice. Those things won’t budge. I’ll muster up some perserverance another time. Luckily the hands are black so it’s not that distracting.
.

Yes, I have 2 of each. I do have a 3rd (case fresh) TFCC PCP in the for sale section. So message me if you need one in your collection.
.

I smell gun envy…

Armed and sexy…

Even more sexy…
Final thoughts: By any means get this guy if you’re into sexy cars, autobots, decepticons, triple changers, spies, or pancakes. Yes the head is small, but I think the pictures in this post do him justice.

Just got this in the mail today and it’s been a figure that I’ve wanted for a long time. There’s plenty of reviews and pictures on the web about this figure already, so I’ll keep this short and to the point. If you like Prime, figures with articulation galore, a plethora of accessories, and enough cues to warrant this as a mini masterpiece; then get this figure!

I got this set on ebay recently. Although broken, it’s a nice armor set for Classics/Henkei Optimus Prime. It’s a neat kit but not something I would pay $70 for, brand new. The one I have will not combine into the larger God Sword due to some broken and glued pieces. The uncombined small sword is pretty proportionate to OP and suits the figure nicely. The shields are a bit unstable but once you pose them, they look great too. I’d like to caution anybody considering this kit though. There is noticeable paint loss near the area where the shield attachment clips on to. I wouldn’t recommend removing the clips too many times. So anyway, I was just having a little fun with some poses. This one seemed to be the best.

Here’s a stock photo of what OP would look like with a GOD Sword. =)

Hot Rod is cool. Classics Rodimus is actually Hot Rod. It’s such a popular mold, we’re all waiting for the FansProject addon to make him Rodimus Prime. The G1 Hot Rod is a Targetmaster, as you can see. Anyway, I thought I’d take a picture comparing the two in alt mode.

I came across a really good deal on a Japanese shopping site. A contact over there was able to order these for me and then shipped over here to California. Basically, Japanese stores will not ship international. So you’d either have to know somebody who’s willing to order it for you. Or you need to go through a shopping proxy. Shopping proxies normally charge 1,000-2,000 Yen fee (per product) or up to 10% of the order. Luckily, my contact was willing to do this for free. They are for a couple of friends and one to keep for MISB. I got lucky because these have been sold out due to the fact that there is no Hasbro Universe counterpart. Lately, they’ve been sold on ebay for $45-$60 plus shipping. Yeah, I’ve been on a Henkei binge.
